CS261 Project - Sensor Network Programming for “Dummies”
نویسنده
چکیده
Although, the ultimate goal of WSNs is to place powerful data collection and analysis capability in the hands of scientists, current programming environments are cumbersome often requiring someone with a PhD in computer science in order to construct a basic program. Our research group is currently developing a next generation system-on-chip (SoC) for wireless sensor network applications. Therefore, this work proposes a graphical and modular programing environment for sensor network applications on the Harvard Ultra Low Power Event Driven Architecture. The proposed system provides a set of parameterizable macros that the user can connect together to define an application. The back-end of our system uses the connection information to piece define correct interrupt-service routines (ISR) routines. This macro method allows us to use the Hardware features of our system such as hardware acceleration and application level power management. Our SoC is currently in the circuit design phase and we plan to complete the implementation of our programing system by the time parts return from IBM.

Random Key Pre-Distribution Techniques against Sybil Attacks
Sybil attacks pose a serious threat for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) security. They can create problems in routing, voting schemes, decision making, distributed storage and sensor re-programming. In a Sybil attack, the attacker masquerades as multiple sensor identities that are actually controlled by one or a few existing attacker nodes. Sybil identities are fabricated out of stolen keys, obt...
متن کاملAnalysis of critical paths in a project network with random fuzzy activity times
Project planning is part of project management, which is relates to the use of schedules such as Gantt charts to plan and subsequently report progress within the project environment. Initially, the project scope is defined and the appropriate methods for completing the project are determined. In this paper a new approach for the critical path analyzing a project network with random fuzzy activi...
متن کاملA multi-period fuzzy mathematical programming model for crude oil supply chain network design considering budget and equipment limitations
The major oil industry upstream activities include the exploration, drilling, extraction, pipelines installation, and production of crude oil. In this paper, we develop a mathematical model to plan for theseoperations as a crude oil supply chain network design problem. The proposed multi-period mixed integer linear programming model entails both strategic (e.g., facility location and allocation)...
متن کاملProgramming Language Support for Sensor Networks
In this project, we design new language abstractions in better support of sensor network programming. Sensor network has received wide attention from both academia and industry in recent years. As a somewhat entertaining testament, a recent special issue of TIME magazine (“WHAT’S NEXT”, Fall 2003) has singled out sensor network as one of the few technologies ready to bring revolution to the hig...

The aim of this paper is to propose a robust reliable bi-objective supply chain network design (SCND) model that is capable of controlling different kinds of uncertainties, concurrently. In this regard, stochastic bi-level scenario based programming approach which is used to model various scenarios related to strike of disruptions. The well-known method helps to overcome adverse effects of disr...
